Welcome to Future Skills Sandwell

 

Welcome to Future Skills Sandwell, one of the Country’s most successful providers of Work Based Learning.

Here you will find everything you need to know about the courses we are offering.

Future Skills Sandwell was established in 1998 and is part of the Economic Regeneration Unit of Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council.  Future Skills Sandwell was set up to address skills shortages in the area by providing training across Construction Trades and Business Administration. 

:: Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are open to anyone aged 16-24, although Future Skills Sandwell’s target group is mainly 16-18 year olds as directed by the LSC.  Future Skills Sandwell offer Apprenticeships (Level 2) and Advanced Apprenticeships (Level 3) in Business Administration and apprenticeships in various construction trades.

:: Train 2 Gain

The Train 2 Gain programme is available to anyone aged 19+ and targets those who have not achieved a Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification. Future Skills Sandwell offer Train to Gain places to learners already in employment and target small and hard to reach employers.

Future Skills Sandwell offer a variety of short courses across a number of construction trades, as well as first aid and health and safety certificated courses.
